Atelier Soubiran

Bespoke French Porcelain and Customized Dinnerware, A Tradition

We are unique because of our partnership with an established Limoges-based porcelain company that hand-makes its pieces just like they were two centuries ago. The manufacturing artisans hand-paint the rims, scale and screen-print the designs on each piece before the final firing.

A Tradition

In the 19th Century, during the age of human innovation, it was a tradition for aristocrats and the bourgeoisie to adorn their dinnerware with their family’s crest or monogram. These unique plates and bowls would become cherished family heirlooms, passed down from one generation to the next.

Two centuries later, Alix Soubiran and her creative team are reviving this tradition by offering custom dinnerware made out of French Limoges porcelain, for your home, villa, or yacht.

What is Limoges porcelain?

Limoges had strong antecedents in the production of decorative objects, and the city maintains a position it established in the 19th century as the premier manufacturing city of porcelain in France.

Atelier Soubiran works exclusively with a renowned manufacture, based in Limoges in the heart of the Limousin region of France, and where the porcelain is made entirely by hand.
